On arrival in Malaysia we enjoyed a short tour of Johor Bahur. This city is at the southernmost tip of the Asian continent and is also the southern tip of the Malaysian Peninsula. The word Johor means "precious jewel".
After lunch we were transported to the stadium Hoki Taman Daya. The girls played against Sultan Ibrahim Secondary school and won 4 - 0. They played great hockey and it is quite evident that they have bonded as a team and are improving their skills with every match that they play.
The boys played against an older team from a Politeknik which is the equivalent of a tecnical university . They had to work extremely hard to win 2 - 0. As always both teams made us extremely proud and received many compliments on and off the field.
